Let Fort Magic’s fort building kit help you make bedtime easier and a more fun nighttime routine that both kids and parents love.

Use the Fort Kit for Bedtime!
No longer do you have to hear all the excuses for why your kids don’t want to go to bed just yet. With our fort kit, bedtime will be such a magical place that your kids will want to go to sleep! Here is what you can do for each of their bedtime excuses.
1. “One More Book” Excuse
Do you always have to read multiple books to your kids before they’ll let you leave the room? You are not alone with the struggle! Our fort kits can help. Build a fort that you and the children can fit in. The kids can join in on the fort building and pick their favorite cover to use. Throw in a few pillows and blankets to keep it comfortable. Then grab a small basket or tote and add the top 5 books that your kids love. These can be switched out each week as you read them.
You can then read a book to the kids or have them read it to you if they are old enough. After that book has been read, add it back to the bookshelf. This can help you read just one book each night and help your kids pick new books to read each week. Your kids will be happy with their nighttime reading nook and the time they get to spend with you.
2. “I’m Scared Of The Dark” Excuse
Do you have a child that is terrified of the lights going out? A pitch-black room scares them, and there is no way they will settle down with no lights? You can build your kids a fort that can go over their bed. This fort can have some white covers over it to keep it light and see-through. Then, strings lights in the fort where your kids can see them. They won’t be stuck in the dark, and this will give them a small amount of light.
If you have kids who share a room and only have one who needs light at night, this will definitely help. They will have their own space to feel safe without bothering the other sibling. You can have lights set up on a timer to go off in the middle of the night, or you can turn them off before you go to bed. Your kid will be excited they have their own fort to keep them safe at night from the dark.
3. “I Want to Sleep with You” Excuse
Do your kids always find a good reason to need to sleep in your bed or make you stay in theirs? As a special prize for a great week of sleeping by themselves, let your kids stay up a bit later and build a fort big enough for everyone. Any design will do, but make sure it is big enough and facing the TV!
Add in the kids’ favorite blankets, pillows, and stuffed animals to make the fort fun. Then pick out a fun, kid-friendly movie the entire family can enjoy. Lay back in the fort as a family and spend quality time with your littles. They will remember this for years!
A Bedtime Fort Kit for the Win
No matter what age your children are, making bedtime more fun is important for their health and wellbeing. They will have a better day when they wake up after having a magical night with their Fort Magic fort. Yes, bedtime excuses can be hard to get around, but we hope you’ve found your own excuse to make it easier for yourself.
